<P><B>Vehicle: 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500HD about 123000 miles, very well cared for.</B><BR><B>Problem: Last night, no load on the truck, seat chime would not stop. </B><BR><B>I came to a stop sign and as I was slowing to a stop, chime goes off followed by engine shutting off. </B><BR><B> This chime quitting happened each time I came to a stop sign wheather the engine cut out or not.</B><BR><B>Engine shut off 3 out of 5 times.</B><b>No lock up of steering etc because I was always rolling to a stop.</b><BR><B>Immediate start after cutting out.</B><BR><B> No engine hesitation, absolutely no dummy lights were on, no ck engine light-nothing.</B><BR><B>This happened to my son about a month ago but no chime sounded.</B><BR><B></B> <BR><B>I'm going to be heading out to visit my daughter for a few days, in my little old Grand Am, I will have computor access later this evening. I need some ammo before I take the truck in somewhere.
