Cool. I'm not quite sure what it's advantages are over a tent but I like to know about options. Thanks for posting.

PS-I like your signature phrase. I used to have a tshirt that said that. A friend got it for me because she said the statement fit me to a T :)

I'm not sure it has an advantage gypsychic, maybe trade-offs. A Coroplast shelter might hold up better in the wind if tied down the same as a tent and may offer better insulation. It's made like corrugated cardboard accept out of plastic, so it traps a tiny space of air between the two sides.

However, unless you paint Coroplast or apply some other type of U.V. protection as the article states it probably wouldn't last more then a year.

I still like my jungle hammock over this shelter or a tent. It's much smaller and lighter. More comfortable when hanging and has more options like setup on the side of a hill. And when you can't hang it, it can still be setup and offers the same protection from th elements as a tent.

Yeah, I didn't come up with my signature, I read it somewhere and liked it. Every time I'd wondered off over the years friends and family thought I was lost. Sometimes I think people that live in houses are the ones that are lost.

The phrase 'Not all who wander are lost' is from The Lord of the Rings, Gandalf says it to describe Strider, or Aragorn. The Hobbits at first did not think much of Strider, thinking Rangers were beneath them. Sorry, my nerdism is showing :)
