Yesterday morning I visited WalMart and an RV was just exiting his overnight spot. His small, older Class C had the word 'Security' in large red letters on all sides of his RV. Wish I could have gotten a picture but I wasn't fast enough.

With his rig, I don't think anyone would be fooled but a white van with the words 'Security' might look very convincing. I wonder if there is any law against it?

Hmm.. I wonder if he could have actually been working security somewhere ,maybe a drill site or fair ,something like that?

In this day of foreclosures has anyone given much thought to parking in the driveway of a vacant "non" H.O.A. home? It might be a viable option if you didn't use the same vacant home twice in a row. This would only apply to homes NOT located in a gated community.

On a slightly different note, did you know that some foreclosure homes STILL has the commercial power turned on?

Just a thought!

I have 2 TB recorder and 4 security cameras outside my trailer & really do look like on site security especially at night.

I would say a long as you don't list a fake company name & license number - there should be no problem. You could always tell the cops your just a guy who watches houses being fumigated at night

http://overthetopcargotrailer.blogspot.com/

I don't think its against the law, unless you are pretending to be an emergency service vehicle. Not a lawyer though.
