I'm realy digging this phone! The reason I want the large 5.5" screen is for easy web page viewing. It's almost like a mini tablet experience with less scrolling. Even the large virtual keyboard is great, and I have fewer typo errors, plus the keyboard has all the numbers on top of the letters so I don't have to press the freakin Symbol button like my previous phones. This phone is so big it literally dwarfs all over smartphones! It makes an iPhone look like an insect with its 4" screen, haha! This phone also has features that no other smartphone has, such as a stylus pen for drawing and writing onto a note, or even drawing and writing onto a picture. The stylus can do other cool things such as drawing a lasso around an image for copying and pasting onto another document. The stylus can also hover over a link on a web page which will then reveal other drop-down or hidden menus. You can't do this with a normal smartphone. The quad-core processor is pretty blazing fast, and does just about everything very quickly. Another cool feature is that the phone can have 2 windows opened simultaneously for different apps, such as the Web and Email at the same time in top and bottom part of the screen. I looked at my old Motorola Droid Razr Maxx phone with a 4.3" screen, and it positively looks small compared to my Note 2 screen. I think once you get turned onto the monster 5.5" screen, you can't go back to anything smaller! The one major negative about this phone is that Samsung doesn't appear to release anything larger than the 16GB internal memory size phone. In other words, only the 16GB version is available in the United States, this sucks! I'm already down to just less than 6GB of free memory after loading a bunch of apps and some large hi-def racing games like Asphalt 6 and 7. Worse, you cannot transfer apps to the memory card. On the plus side, at least I have a huge 64GB external micro-SD card for all my music, pictures, and documents, which I've already used up half the memory! As to deciding between Sprint and T-Mobile, that's obviously a personal decision that only you can make. Besides the monthly cost, an important consideration is how good reception you get in your area for a particular carrier. Fortunately for me, I still have my grandfathered unlimited 4G LTE plan through Verizon before they terminated that plan. I am also a heavy data user, and in the several days I've had this phone, I've already blown through over 7GB of data usage! On the down side, I had to pay full retail price of $700 plus tax for my Note 2 phone in order to keep my unlimited 4G plan through Verizon. Anyway, just play around with this phone, and watch various videos on YouTube for their reviews before making a decision. This phone is positively not for everyone just for its sheer size. But for those who can appreciate it, it's very cool !
