I've live in Sacramento for  38  years but i never knew this spot until channel 3 did a story. July 2017

These people are just looking to get tickets, and its there own fault.
They are parked on a main street with lots of traffic and cops that drive by through out the day.
There are many business parks, side streets or industrial areas in Sacramento were they could park and not be bothered.
They are there own worst problem, yet they can`t figure that out.

The liberty of citizens engaged in lawful activities should not be curtailed because of where a street is located, or by the presence of police.

If the law says 72hrs then they can stay for 72hrs.

I like how they say homeless....an rv is a home. The title itself conjures negativity.

I don`t think you are getting the point here.
Just because you can park some place legally for a certain amount of time, doesn`t necessarily mean that you should.
An rv is a large vehicle and tends to draw attention to it self because of what it is and sometimes were its parked.

That`s why its sometimes better to park in a more out of the way spot than on a main street.

I looked up 3rd and Broadway on Google Maps. It IS and out of the way spot, in a light industrial area, tucked by the interchange of I-5 and Business I-80.
