While doing some research on RV type insurance, I came across the following helpful sites:

These are good reads even if you are driving a vehicle registered as a van, suv, or even a passenger car. They discuss such supplementary insurance policies as :
Personal Effects Coverage
Campsite Liability Coverage
Personal Umbrella Policies
Medical Payments Coverage - this can be cheap supplemental insurarance for somebody with a high deductible health insurance policy. Won't help you if you develop cancer or something, but can cover the deductible if you are injured in an accident.
Also a good discussion on "market value" vs "agreed value" vs "total replacement" as far as Comprehensive and Collision coverage goes.
