When we arrive in Quartzsite, where do we go to get a permit?  Which permit do we get? We will want to use the RV dump station.

You will get the permit out where we gather right before the dirt road part and I would dump in quartzite before you drive up No dump station at the site. but it's only a few miles.

If you can call it an office, it's open air and when the flag is up it's open usually you are met by a nice couple living in a trailer that sign you up.
the occasional ranger will visit and look for the permits so leave it in an easily spotted location so they don't need to get out of the truck and look for it, just a courteous thing to do, you will have a few days to figure it out and by that time you will be a pro.

Many private dump stations in Quartzsite, none are cheap -- and they charge for water. The LTVA has one as well, $40 for 2 weeks or $180 for the season. The flying J in Eherenburg is $5 with their rv club (ask for a card), Blythe has a nice one for $7 south on Broadway and free water at Miller park on Lovekin. Closest real BLM offices are Lake Havasu and Yuma, but you get the permits from the volenteer hosts at each area.

Please, everyone, don't give a seconds thought or worry to the free permit, it's a very basic formality and its much easier to tell you how to get it when you get here. The second day of the RTR the seminar is on how to find everything you need in Quarzsite, so all your questions will be answered.

Plus, you'll make dozens of friends and most of them can answer all your questions as well.

Relax for now, come and have a great time!
