OK...so scrap the business van idea.

...but what about a 'church van'?? I don't think anybody would bother with a church van, and you're not advertising a business (that's open or not).
not much to steal in a church van either.



...altho you may accidently attract the weird religious finatic who wants to talk, & talk, & talk, & talk ad nauseum about whatever religious dogma they're spouting.

btw...I own a sign and graphics shop, and I ALWAYS try to talk folks out of getting those magnetic signs. Since they're removable, they can make your business look chincy and not look like it's gonna last for the long haul, like a permanent sign on your vehicle will do.
And, YES...they do blow off in the wind going down the road...not to mention that they're also super easy to steal!

The business sign - I look for ones that let the public know there is nothing of value to steal in this vehicle. I liked the dog walking one, the church van is a great idea also. Architect and design is a good sign - all that's in there are rolls of paper worth nothing. If you put contractor, make sure it's specified so they don't think power tools are in your vehicle.

I'm thinking XXX's Pet Grooming Limo - cause everyone knows that the vehicle will smell like wet dog and probably give you fleas.

Does anybody know if you use a sign for Grace Baptist would it have to be tagged commercial or not because they are charities?

If they don't have to be tagged commercial that would be a big plus.

here in kalifornia they have special leo's called commercial enforcement all they do is commercial vehicles. if you have a sign you better have a business license. as far as those rain guards go they are great, just take them off when you go off road or the brush will take them off for you. ask me how I know. highdesertranger

The smoke rain guards are great for stealth. Can't remember when I didn't have the window cracked a bit under them. No condensation on the windows in cold/rain, which is another dead giveaway.

As to the magnet signs staying on..... I got mine from a sign place. They used really strong magnets. The secret they shared with me to have them stay put was to take them off regularly and clean them as well as the car door. If they aren't on the car, store them completely flat. The only time one came off was when I'd neglected to clean them. Being in the desert, the sand would work it's way under the leading edge. I fortunately saw it come off and was able to retrieve it.
