ROAD TRIP: Lexington and Concord Battlefields

A couple of photos froma  visit to the Lexington and Concord Battlefields, where it all began:

Lexington Commons, where the first shots were fired.

After the shooting at Lexington, the Brits continued up the road to Concord. The colonial militia encountered them at this bhridge, and more shooting commenced.

The Brits then retreated all the way back to Boston, taking fire from colonials the entire way.
