What would be a good thickness for Polyiso insulation for the floor, walls and ceiling. and what would be the recommended, ply wood thickness for each, the floor will be a laminate flooring.

Thanks

That question varies with everyone that’s been built. A lot of it depends on where you’re going how hot or cold it will be there. But there are plenty of videos on insulation you can find on Bob‘s YouTube channel. There is also a insulation thread on this forum. I hope that helps.

I used Polyiso in my van.... 2" in the walls and ceiling, but the height can matter.

I used 1.5 inches on the walls and ceiling and 1 inch on the floor.

As for ply wood size use as small as possible. I used 1/8 inch all the way around but I have a trailer and the floor already is 3/4 ply. The question is where are you going to attach cabinets, bed, and such to?
