Recommend a dc to dc charger?

We are looking for a dc to dc dual charge controller. The one Bob used in a video (the D250sa) is now $400 on amazon, although it does come with a battery monitor. Does anyone have any recommendations or advice for what to purchase?

Bought one from Renogy a month ago $295.00 delivered.
They said it will work as DC/DC alone till you can expand to solar.
Also it's 25 dc / 25 solar, 50 combined
