In our Pennsylvania German culture those are known as comforts. Where the word came from I don’t know but they are comforting. Although we would fry them in lard and often just put cinnamon and sugar in a bag and shake them around in there and not fill them although we have filled them already too. They sure look good I’m glad I’m in Florida.

Well, if you made up a mess of French fries I’m sure you could find people to eat them.

Some salt, ketchup for dipping. Yum!
