I just ordered mine this evening. I still have a 2007 edition of the Motor Carriers from my trucking days but I'd noticed that I was having a hard time seeing the smaller roads. Besides, there's bound to have been changes to some roads since I left the road.

Getting old person eyes, need large print now.  :(

or a magnifying glass, that's what I do. at night I find it hard to read maps, especially the small blue print. highdesertranger

That's the one I have. It takes awhile to get used to using it because some states are spread over four pages but I really like the detail. When we have a choice we travel along the little gray roads but you have to be careful because sometimes they have a white space in the middle which means they become dirt roads.

So?  There's a saying among the 4x4 crowd:  "Paved roads.  Another example of needless government spending!" :D

You're in or near Springfield? I'll be coming through that area next month on my way to see some family in Poplar Bluff. We should have coffee!

Right now I am in Columbia.  Let me know.  I can always escape for a couple days.  That is why I have a van!
