I thought someone had posted something about Dodge Ram 1500 vans being best if they were made before a certain year. Any information you can give me about them would be appreciated.

Actually if you get a larger base Ram, it would be a stronger vehicle.  The 15 series is a 1/2 ton. 

I have a 250 which is a 3/4 ton. 

For engines, I highly prefer the 318. (5.2L)

I just read that beginning with the 1998 model they moved the passenger and driver seat back further from the dash so it's harder to drive as well as get in and out of. I don't know if that's what you were looking for.

Even more info on B-vans. B vans basically come down to four generations. 71-77, 1978 pnly, 79-93, 94- end of production.
