Amazon: when is the latest one can apply and what the usual rate of pay is?
Beet Harvest: same as above plus is their work more difficult than Amazon?

I've noticed a lot of jobs that ask for couples. I'm wondering if there has been any way you know of to team up with a second person? For example, gate gurding jobs are very good money but requires two people for 24 x 7 coverage.

I have no info in regards to your qusetion, but I'm glad you raised the idea of a partner for gate guarding jobs, etc. As a solo traveler, I've always dismissed those opportunities out of hand. You got me thinking, though ...

I believe the guard companies are trying to transition over to guard shacks and pay an hourly salary to individuals per shift . Couples could still do it however. I have read that some already have done that but right off don't remember which ones. That puts the guards to paying for RV spaces at nearest parks. It has been a while since I have been current on this.

I've thought about how handy it would be to have a way for people to help each other out by sharing information as well as the ability to team up in order to get jobs that call for more than one person...

FWIW, Express Employment (which hires for two large sugar beet companies) emailed me today and said they still have a few positions open. I get the impression that they normally fill all their positions in early September.

Also, just checked the Amazon website and it says they are no longer hiring for their CamperForce. Not sure when applications stop, but basically October is probably too late. Unfortunate for me as I don't have my vehicle yet.

Wherever you look.....
If there are no more jobs open give them your contact info anyway,,,,
Every now and then somebody no-shows or washes out due to not being able etc !!!

:)  I think it was Cyndi who recently posted a link for free internet Workamper News.  The current issue is up for Sept/Oct.  On the freebie we can only see the current issue.  There are some restrictions on the free account however since I'm a "Lookie Louise" right now I really paid no attention.  The complete Issue is on the site and it's free to sign up.  I have some issues that are at least 10-15 yrs old.
There is a bird/animal? sanctuary in FL looking for 2017 volunteers.  Singles work 16hrs a week for full hook up sites.  I think for couples it's 32hrs.

I saved the old issues  for future contacts and info.
I never look at the pictures, I just read the stories :p :D NOT

I saved a lot of issues , several years (a backpack full) the contact info sometimes is outdated but a great resource. I 1st subscribed back in 95!

When me and Vic worked the beet harvest a couple of years ago, they were continuously losing people and hiring more.I would keep in touch.

Escapees, which was founded many moons ago, cateres mostly to full time retired RV'ers.  Recently, they have started a parallel organization called Xscapers, for younger, still working full timers.  Support includes a job board for people on the road.  You do have to join, it's $29.95 a year (plus a $10 first time sign up fee) and the $29.95 is refundable within 60 days if you decide it ain't working for you.

Strikes me as a very good idea.  Maybe some part of this forum could be useful for making that type of match.
