I tried renting a box at the laundromat in Ehrenberg but they're at capacity. Which place in Quartzsite am I more likely to have Amazon ship to? They can be fussy about shipping addresses. It looks like there are two places in town.

I think there is a Amazon hub in the Quartszite area, I looked into it once, not sure if its in Blythe California or Parker AZ.

BCM is my full time mail forwarder. Nice people. Like most businesses, they'll charge a fee to receive packages/mail for those who aren't signed up as regular customers. And you'd need to let them know in advance you want to have something sent there.

I've also used the Quiet Times store. Ditto with the fee and advanced notice. Their service seems a little less organized than BCM because it's not their main thing.

Those two pickup locations in Blythe have been "full" for days in a row including right now. I just looked. When you go to checkout your cart it tells you. Last year I used the one at the Rite Aid. Thanks for looking it up.

I got setup with a mailbox at BCM today. Nice people, well, person. The older guy took care of me. It was 39. and change for 3 months. It's cheaper by the year. I also filled up my propane tank at Pattie's in Quartzsite. New owner. Nice guy. Good service. Good prices

We're the oddballs coming in to Quartzsite just after everyone else left. We have a spot reserved and are heading that direction first week of March. Just signed up for the BCM service online. Thanks so much for the info!

BCM works for social distancing because you stand outside on a covered deck. They seve you through a sliding window that has a plexiglass shield. It is $79 for a full year. They are a full service mail forwarding address. They do scanning and sending to your email and they do shredding at your request. They are open year arounfd.

The Quiet Times facility is not a full tome year around. They are not a mail forwarding service. But it has worked out OK for my needs for occassional package receiving. But in December and January there were at times some long lines in the afternoon when packages tend to arrive. However they do have the building up for sale so they may or may not reopen next fall.

One of the easiest to get covid exposure in Quartzsite is at the US post office. They keep the doors closed and people stand in line packed as close as sardines. Many times there are unmasked people in line. Social distancing inside that post office is impossible. As there is no USPS delivery to homes or businesses in Quartzsite and it is the only place to get a general delivery in town that place is busy as a beehive.

For the last two months I was unable to have a package sent to the Amazon Hub Counters in Blythe, CA. I was able to use them through December but not in January or early Feb 2021. I do not know if that is currently the situation. Fortunately there are alternatives in Quartzsite but not free ones. There is no Amazon hub counter in Parker, AZ. The closest Amazon lockers are in Lake Havasu City, AZ and in Yum, AZ. It cost less to pay for packages to be deliveted than to drive to those places from Quartzsite. There is also not going to be true next day delivery from Amazon to any of the hub counters or lockers in Yuma, Lake Havasu City, Blythe or in Quartzsite as there is no local Amazon warehouse within that zone.
