Came across this little beauty. Not too bad of a rig at least in the ad. I would of course work the price a bit lower.

I found this while looking for an 80 something Toyota 4v4 van... I want one soo bad. I would trade what I have now and take in a heartbeat.... If any of you hear of one please let me know.

ohohoh.. look at this bad boy!...WOW! I Love it!

I need to watch the ads more often!

I'm curious...what is your price range and why do these vehicles appeal to you? I'm curious what your adventures are and the details about your comfort levels, etc. I'm on portland.craigslist too

I wouldn't touch either one of those. the first one is front wheel drive and the second one is a salvage title. highdesertranger

You are all over it!!

When I get ready to pick up another rig.. I am going to see about hiring you for prescreen!

You have posted that before and I never really looked much at it. I did just now however and I am shocked at some of the prices being asked for what I consider very medicore builds at  best. Several older model. standar rigs with over 100k miles with asking prices in the 20k range...LOLOLOL.

My build is fine. could have been much better..but if those folks are asking that much.. I can be in that range as well...and here I am fretting that I would have to get 10k out of resale.. which I can't even imagine happening.

I think one of the biggest problems in todays world is people inflating their value and that of their things.  Oh no baby girl... you ain't all that nor is your rig.

Myabe Ill just start doing rolling flips and sell like those people do..,,me and my jigsaw!!

I mostly liked the roof rack.. the huge sunroof..til it started leaking and the cool metal hatches over the windows..LOL.. and also that it  is lifted.

Now that the insides are finished for me I want the fun exterior stuff... a brush guard, new paint, a light bar, a visor, ..metal hatches over the windows..:)

A large part of me wishes I had done the outside first..sigh..

I had noticed that van too, 14YO with 203,000 miles, oof. But somebody did buy it. At least you can get an idea of what's available and what people are asking. FWIW, I wouldn't even look at that 1999 bad-boy van you linked. 21YO and 230,000 miles, $7000 and salvage. Now that's a joke. How about $1500, assuming the tires are good.
You can get several thousands more, if you find a pretty girl to sit on the van while you take the pictures, and mention the word "adventures" several times! :p
