Always wanted to do a cargo trailer conversion but had this box sitting around and loved the 7' headroom makes it feel a lot bigger.I work at a rv dealership and most of the stuff has been scavenged or dumpster dive finds.getting inside all done before painting outside and can't install my roof air till all done won't be able to get out the door on my shop.still a lot to do but see light at end of tunnel now.

Seems extraordinarily sensible, to me !

Only thing I could advise, atm, is to lower it's stance on the frame rails.
This portable office was designed to be towed short local distances, at a notably low speed, from one jobsite to another.

If you are making plans to go out over the road, it's top-heavy nature will be a significant liability.
( Over the last day or so I have watched a gazillion accident vids on youtube of what can happen to all sorts of rv's. )

There will be a new level of caution around here...  I can almost guarantee it !    wheels

It was a box off a moving type truck I added the tounge and frame rails does it sit a little high yes but know higher then most the trailers I work on. Thought about tucking the axles inside but didn't want to give up floor space with the wheel wells and will have nice metal j wrap on the sides with some sort of wheel fender skirts.not saying I wanna test in a high crossword lol but most trailer accidents are speed related guys just going to Damn fast.

I've often dreamed of being in a position to scavenge scrap yards(more) and all the cool stuff I could build....I like your project and especially the salvage element.

In one word, F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!!!. Often thought of dual purpose rig like this. Where the camper part could come off and could still be used as a utility trailer.
Then, adding pontoons so you could use it as a boat. Hmmmmmm, maybe fold out wings and a propeller. Let's not forget the parachute for safety. What else could we add?

That 7' head room is nice, huh? My store bought 7x12 has 6'9" headroom. Love it. I'm 6'. 

Those bay(?) windows look great, bet they look even greater looking out of in the morning drinking some hot coffee. 

Road worthy by RTR time?

I'm 6'5" and have spent 20 plus years banging my head on roof mount A/c ceiling packs
