Does anyone know where I can get a nice power inlet to put on the van? I want it to be a 15 amp male end, so I can just plug the end of an extension cord onto it with a (mostly flush) housing and cover. My '62 travel trailer has something just like what I need but I obviously want to keep it on the trailer.

Also, I'm most interested in a big box store or somewhre that I'd likely to be able to buy it in person. But if you have something online I'd be happy to look at it, as after I post this I think I'm headed over to Amazon to see what I can find anyway.

Hey andy....look up "motor base plug"...that is the term for them...
Bri

Bri,

Thanks. I think I'm probably going to have order something online instead of locally. Looks like I've got two main ones to choose from. Leviton* and Marinco*. I know VanTrekker went with a white version of the Marinco, but the Leviton is like the one on my trailer. Guess I'll have to look at the van this weekend and figure out which style I want to go with. Marinco is more streamlined and black already, but I like the spring loaded cover on the Leviton, though I'd have to paint it.

*These are links

Hi Andy...I have bought them at a trailer/mobile home supply store and at an industrial electrical supply store. They aren't common enough to be sold everywhere....

Good luck....any kind you get will work well....
bri
