Possible van prospect

I drove by this 1998 Chevy with 120k on a 350. In great condition on the exterior, still has seats inside (I was planning on doing a conversion anyway). Asking for $3,500 obo. Anyone have any thoughts? 

Obviously I'll take it to my mechanic before I decide...just want to see what y'all thought. I'll see if I can post a pic later.... Thanks!

Yes if sound, especially no significant rust.

Some parts of the country that's a rare bargain.
