Those are really nice camps! Do you stay in one place for a fairly long while? How long does it take to set up? The pics of E OR look like near Whitney. I used to live in a cabin off the N. Fork of the Burnt River near there.

I am totally stealing my ex's ironing board out of the storage shed
I really dunno if I should play, my 'camp' is really my land, with RV and portacle building (unused at this time, so not really a 'camp'

Only panned for gold after the rivers ran in spring. Lots of prospecting in the Sumpter area, with miles of tailings, but I didn't have a claim, was just for fun. Digging in the old town of Whitney was interesting with neat old opium and medicine bottles and pure silver hypodermic needles from when the Chinese put the railroad in. I can see where you'd get good use out of a cargo trailer and that is a great working back country truck too with all the winches and everything. Looking forward to more piccies. :)

These are with my old rig, on a trip to Baja. I'll try and dig some up with my trailer, but even with that I don't tend to set much up. I like to be able to set up quickly and hit the road again just as quickly. On occasion I'll be camped with a large group, and I do have a 10x20 canopy, large stove, etc for those occasions, but that takes a couple hours to set everything up, so we better be staying at least a week.

On a side street in Ensenada. Mines the black truck. I sure miss that rig.

Yup right in back of my messy camp, it's a guy thing (I did hide the whiskey bottles). Great van but not for me.

Very 'manly' looking cows wandering around our campsite....I don't think these are milk cows....

I see curious cows (actually heifers, with udders) not "manly" bulls or even steers. LOL You're lucky!

ok I have to reply to this. cows are females that have been bred and have large udders. heifers are females that have not been bred and have small udders. steers are males that have been castrated. bulls are males that haven't been castrated. a mixed group of calves are called just that calves no sex is inferred. when you see a group of cattle in the distance they can be referred to as cattle or cows. the cows in the pics are cows one even has a calf in frame, the others probably have calves outside the frame. just wanted to clear that up. highdesertranger

Huh. You learn something new every day. Thanks, High Desert Ranger.

These are not the cows that you see at the dairy....    Also bulls wandering around...kind of peaceful to watch them and their calf's.  Lots of deer too....too fast for my camera...   Even with udders...they look kind of rough and Southwestern

Yes, these are meat, not dairy cows. Probably no bulls either, but young steers in the mix. You'll be safe Sameer, I promise. They're just young and curious. Once, when I took my boy camping, we woke up in the morning with a bunch of these characters in a circle staring at us. Startled them as well as us. LOL Is this free range land you're camping on? Looks real nice. I like a more open forest. Less claustrophobic and better for bird watching too.
