Does anyone have a handle on the cheapest photo to postcard service? Am looking at prices of $1 (for a way too small photo) to $2 for a full image on the card.

Walmart can print photos to card stock for maybe $0.60 and then you need to slam a $0.35 postcard stamp on them to send a full picture. Trouble with walmart that means getting to walmart or mailing the cards to you yourself first.

Maybe there is a known coupon-discount for one of these postcard services?

Vista print is who I use. They have sales all the time from 25% to 60% Looks like 50 are 17+shipping, sometimes they are cheaper.
You use their software to do what you want.

So vista print will create pictures on postcard stock. Then send them to you ? You just need to stamp and address them?

You will do the work online at Vista print, then pay and they send them to you. They are real fast unless they have had a 60% off sale. You can get different size postcards too.

To do your own design, go to the "uplaod your design"
It's all very easy and easy to fix and customize.

I've used them for years.

Do people buy many of these? At my motel we have 50 cent post cards sitting in a rack, i've sold 3 in 10 years, and 2 of those were when they were a quarter. :D Some of them are nice looking too, tho some are a little bent from being so old now.

Believe it or not, if you find a niche, yes. I make simple little vintage camper pictures and they have sold fast. I have been trying to close down the house etc. and have little inventory and no new designs. See. This is another reason I want to be living on the road and out of my camper. I don't have the time and energy to keep up with what I can sell. Sorry to take your thread Offroad. Just a little self kick in my pants to get my stuff together.
I do think I will include the stamp on the postcards, you know, pretty stamps that say, buy me, I'm ready to send to Aunt Mable. The internet has taken over a lot of the romance and caring of the greeting card industry but there is still a big want for cards.

All good information. Think I will try sticking with TOUCHNOTE for the large pictures and ease of use. If I buy the ability to make 10 cards for 15 dollars I likely will not use that up in a year. Sending full image postcards upon demand is worth a few extra

And additional comment that post cards can be bought for $0.25 plus a $0.40 stamp and you are on your way.

If you have the printer, you can buy post card stock at places such as Office depot and print them as you need them.

Jim - printer ink. Printer heads. Post card stock. Setting up my printer to print dead center of the image location. All very costly to get correct.

I've done it that way too. Costs to much. Vista print or somewhere else is cheaper.
