Parking in and industrial park tonight.  These are good options. There’s plenty of lighting. It’s relatively uncrowded. And you blend in with other vans. Just thought I would throw that out there for options for those who are looking for ideas of where to park Overnight

A lot of industrial parks have security patrols. They know who the tenants are and are not. So you can't count on "blending in"  Some of them even require that the tenants use stickers that need to be displayed inside the window. Like anywhere else where you are not pre-authorized to park, be prepared for a knock on the door.

I walked around the parking lot to see if the other vans had parking stickers on them and they did not.

This place that I’m parked in front of does custom T-shirt embroidery and they have open Wi-Fi! Jackpot! :)

I have parked in an industrial park but it was at a Cummins diesel mechanical shop and they had rv spots where you could plug in for electricity. Security did show up once that night but they never bothered me.

Last night went great. I will definitely keep this parking spot in rotation. Only issue I had was it was very windy and the van shook parts of the night. A great thing about the spot is it’s only 1 mile from work. So I was able to sleep a little late and still make it to work with plenty of time left

I'm glad that worked out so well for you! I will consider industrial areas in case I ever do any urban stealth camping - though I don't know how stealth a white high roof van would be with solar and a fan on top. I like the idea of blending in with other white vans which is one reason I'm getting a white van rather than blue, green, or gray.

I bet you would blend in fine. There was a refrigeration company a few doors down from where I parked. All of their vans had large vent hoods on top.
