We tried full timing in a TT with two children.  My wife and I loved every second.  However, children (teens) hated it.  We have put off any future attempts on full timing until our youngest is out of the house.
My wife and I live in fear of missing out - on all the places we long to see.  The fear comes from kidney disease, colon cancer, and a brain tumor.  Kidney disease is treated, colon was removed and radiation stopped the tumor regrowth after surgery.  We have had worse times believe it or not.  December 1995, my 10 month old son died in kidney failure.  March 1999, my daughter died in kidney failure as well.  Now those were some hard times.  Life changing times for sure!

When someone asks me "how are you doing?" I just say, "Doing my time."  I do feel like we are in a prison and we just have to stay focused on here and now, do our time and we will be free to roam in no time.

For now, we will continue with the rv education and research.  We will continue to do practice runs - a little sampler of what we long for.

Our Heart is in a van.  However, with no colon, a full bath is a non-negotiable necessity.

That's the way to do it! I'm hoping to take a few weekend trips this year in my unfinished camper van! Everybody says that will help me decide what I really want, so samplers it is!  :)
