I use a standard keyboard that uses household AC. My profession as a musician requires me to listen to music and to practice. Headphones solve the amp issue; but was wanting to hear about various ways some of the musicians here, might utilize for practicing?
Within the vehicle, what are the electrical devices needed?
Not using the vehicle, what places have you found for this purpose?

Additionally, I am using the electric seats, and windows much more than I used to... do I need to provide protect the battery and so on.. how?

Thank you

Can't help with the power usage on the seats and windows, my van has neither so I'm no help at all!

As to practicing your music, I'd suggest you head over to read Glenns' blog at tosimplify.net.

Glenn has it all worked out for using a keyboard on board, both in terms of power and equipment. The info on his keyboard work etc will be found back in the 1.0 version - he switched blogs earlier this year but 1.0 is the full archives from 2009 on up. Unfortunately there's no search function that I can find but the blog right from the very beginning is really interesting to read.

Thank you for this.. I do not understand the significance of versions of a blog, or even a Blog, but I will travel to the Blog you've mentioned for sure.. peace.

You will have to go back a year or two to fully get the info on Glenn's blog, back when he was composing and arranging music for a TV program.
He is not writing much now, just pictures right now as he is on tour down under with The Glenn Miller Orchestra. Very interesting blog.

AS far as searching goes: I'm "sure" most know....but......if you're on a page full of text, hit the "CTRL" and "F" key simultaneously and type in the word you want to search for.If the words are there they will be highlighted.   FWIW
