Hi all,
I'm still 12 months away from being able to buy a new-to-me Dodge Grand Caravan, so I'm in the spongelike state of info absorbtion I'm not planning to live in my minivan full-time, but rather use it as my "town house" (I live very remotely and having my own place to stay in town would sure be nice), travel home base, and home while volunteering.
After travelling through the American southwest this winter in an ancient pickup camper with a friend, I know I want to find out more about the pros and cons of insulating more than the windows, as well as how to install a diesel air heater in a minivan that runs on regular gas. Home is in northwestern Canada, so heating my future "town house" without swimming in condensation is something I'll need to figure out
I'm keen to learn from everybody - happy to share my own (mis)adventures!
