Hello all, I am very new to this. &nbsp;Just started converting my truck into something I can live in. &nbsp;I joined this because I was hoping to get advice along the way from some seasoned pros. &nbsp;<img src="/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle">

well, I'm planning on heading north. &nbsp;I have a truck with a topper that I'm converting into a bedroom situation. &nbsp;I'm wondering if there is a good safe way to put a heater in there. &nbsp;any suggestions on that?

Welcome, Ergaster. A lot of boondockers use a propane tank (20 lb.) outside a window connected by a 12 foot flexible hose to a Buddy heater. With cracked windows it is safe. I have done this for years. The little propane tanks (green) don't last long enough to bother with. Also they are expensive.

Welcome Ergaster, I am starting out too and so far this site has been a huge help!<div><br></div><div>&nbsp;You also may consider these packs that can keep hot water warm for a very long time. Not sure on which brand is the best, but I have heard good things about the design in general.&nbsp;</div>
