Put a sheet of 1/2 inch plywood under the chair with a rubber mat under the plywood. The plywood will distribute the pressure a little better and the rubber matt will cut down on the friction damage to the roof coating.

Great idea!  I really want to get some fake grass up there.

Did a test run on the solar panel today, getting 6 amps @ 28 volts and I haven't even cleaned the panel yet
