My husband and I have been married 22 years. The last child is leaving the nest next week. Our dream has always been to travel and see the U.S.A. We were going to wait until retirement, but have decided life is to short. I've always said I would much rather have experiences than things. He belongs to the GPAA (Gold prospectors Association of America ) we plan to sell our home and belongings and hit the road. Our first stop will be Congess Az. We already have a travel trailer. Recently we went to Denver and camped for 2 weeks. We both enjoyed it. He collects a pension and can fix most anything. I'm a R.N. and plan on applying for nursing licenses in other states, so I don't think work will be a problem, so for the next months we are going to concentrate on reducing our debt and preparing to sell our stuff. I also will be doing a lot of research and found this site to be helpful. I will be purchasing Vern's book soon. Looking forward to this new way of life. ;)
