I'm just starting my education on living full time in an RV. I won't be hitting the road for another few years, but I want to be prepared. I've been binge watching Pippi Peterson and Cheap RV living to get familiar with the culture. For now, I'll be "listening" and learning as much as possible.

Welcome to the CRVL forums pathemom! Researching to be prepared is a good idea. Build up your savings. Go to RV shows and dealers to see some RVs in person. If you can, attend the RTR for a day or two. Ask questions on the forums. Visit campgrounds and RV parks if you are unfamiliar with the lifestyle - prices, amenities, and atmosphere vary widely. In fact, go camping using your present vehicle to get some experience. The only thing I do not recommend is buying supplies and equipment ahead of time. Many people end up with things that seemed like a good deal at the time but are useless when they actually hit the road.

Yes...I wish I had read and heeded this recommendation. Hopefully by the time I hit the road, they'll still be useful...
