Thanks for the inclusion to the forum. I used to camp in a 1978 Apache Ramada hardside camper that I towed and was awesome but had to leave my farm in the country with a huge barn and a 4 and 3 car garage, and health said to downsize so I did never expecting to leave the country life but did move to the city and now share a very small house on a very small lot with a very small garage and rent another garage. Sold the camper and some cars and trucks and kept my 2wd hay hauler and sold the 4x4. I also kept my vintage boat that I can camp on the water with as well as fish and eat well. No regrets and looking forward to putting a new crate motor in the truck as well as a re-manufactured transmission in it this year. I also have a lot of fun other upgrades for it and by the end of summer will be finished and hopefully going south out of the Wisconsin winter that I have spent all of my life in. It is a great state to travel all year round and so much to do as long as you stay out of some of the bigger cities like Milwaukee where I am at the moment. I will post some pictures of my stuff and hope to learn what many have already done.

Peace,

Welcome!

Being able to camp on water in your boast sounds like a lot of fun. Nice to have options!

You'll find sections in this forum for almost any sort of "camp-able" rig, so I'm sure you'll have fun exploring.

A little desert sun in January is hard to beat, so maybe you'll make it to the big gathering from this forum that happens in Quartzsite AZ every January.

Keep us posted on your next moves.

Water campers are still campers !
You could just leave it on the trailer and go camping anywhere or maybe launch it in the bayou and hang with some of the water dwellers there . Lake Mead , the Keys , Baja ........
