Good day, everyone. I am joining the forums after months and months of watching Bob's YouTube videos (and CarolynsRVLife). I am so drawn to this life on the road thing. I'm not sure I've got the heart of being a "fulltimer", but I am definitely interested in learning.
Currently, I am on the cusp of a 6 week leave of absence from my work to be with my daughter and son-in-law for the birth of their first child (our first grand child). We live 5 hrs away from them, so next weekend, we are taking our travel trailer up and parking it at a private campground 20 min away (costing us a fortune!!) so that I can be available for them, but not all up in their business. They need to learn how to be a new little family and I want to be in the background as a support person. in whatever way they need. The only real way for me to do that is to BE THERE. So, I am going to be in the camper fulltime for at least a month, mostly by myself. My husband has to continue working, so he will be in and out.
I look forward to learning from you all and sharing fellowship as I pass the time on baby-watch and new grandma duty. My husband and I both want to hit the road, as he is probably going to end up being medically retired soon. I want to be a true helpmate in the physical work/management of all the RV stuff that he would typically do if he were not sick. So, I am your pupil and the forum is the school.
Thanks again everyone.
