I am technically a newbie though I have been lurking in the corner for about 3 years. I went full time in October and stayed in familiar environs for 3 months . I had a lot of naysayers and Debbie downers who questioned my decisions and sanity. So when I finally got out of there after the holidays and came down to Quartzsite i hibernated and only attended a few seminars at the RTR. Therein lies the rub. I didn’t network.  I am now at the women’s gathering still in need of solar and some basic boxes for my van. If anyone is still in Quartzsite I am willing to pay or barter for some help turning my van into my new full time home. Thank you all for your inspiration and acceptance.

I’m not it Quartzsite and was only at this years RTR briefly as the crowds were a little overwhelming for me.

I’m in Ehrenberg but will likely come back to Quartzsite tomorrow or the next day after a nature photo shoot I’m working on.

I am good with solar and have all the tools needed for installation. I would be limited beyond that due to time.

If that is somehow helpful let me know.

What kind of solar setup are you thinking? I can help with a deployable type setup, but don't have the experience of attaching the panels to the roof if you're thinking of doing it that way. As to carpentry skills, don't have any so won't be much help with cabinets or boxes. I just went with the plastic tote type containers.

Solar Bill’s is ok for batteries in a pinch but most of their prices are not competitive, especially their panels. You can order a kit from Renogy and have it here in a couple of days for far less with equal or better quality. That was my experience comparing their prices several times last year. Solar Bill’s has a good reputation otherwise but if you are price conscious they may not be your first choice.
