I am not really a newbie to the site. I lurked for years checking in every once in a while. I have really enjoyed the forum and all the pictures and advice given.

Today when I finally decided to join a moment of panic hit me. When that passed I finished reading the information on this new format. Yay!! Not to late for me lol.

I am an avid camper and love long trips to find inner peace and solitude. Throughout the years I have camped in tents, campers, RV and cars. And in October of 2019 I purchased a dodge Promaster to make my life a bit easier. As I get older the need to stand up straight has become a necessity. Then of course Covid hit. Then I fell about 5 feet off a deck and dang near crippled myself.

Here I am on the last week of 2021 and I am healed enough to take on my adventure. With 3 back surgeries I was not able to convert my van but my family pitched in. I have a small kitchenette, a double bed, a 45qt dual zone fridge/freezer, 200watts of solar and 400 amp hours of batteries. My tiny home is insulated but a bit bare. As I go I can fix it up as I need.

I won’t be leaving for my first trip until March I want better tires before I leave. I am also sticking close to home for a bit as I experiment with my new limitations. When I am completely confident the sky is the limit!!
