I have traveled with my wife in a semi truck over the road and we have a pretty good idea of what is needed. We traveled a bit in a full size chevy van. Now I am fixing up a 2018 Kia Sedona. Big fan of Bob for many years. I really like the bed idea that hangs from the shoulder harness mounts. My bed will use ratcheting tie hooks so I can easily adjusted it. I'll post pics when I'm done. I have watched thousands of van build videos. I am glad to be here. Gravy was my cb handle when trucking. I wish we all had cb's out there. They were so fun in the 70's

Welcome, from the Arkansas Desperado! Lol!!! Lot of years since I used that handle!

Welcome Gravy to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

10-4 good buddy. My CB days go back to actually having a license and using the number (KCD554) instead of a handle. And I still got most of the 10 codes in my head, man I am old. then I moved to the handle “Pillsberry dough boy”. does that create a picture of what I look like.? I wish I had his dough. Welcome to the forum and I hope you enjoy the road again but this time take time to see what’s along the side of it instead of rushing through it. Get off that four-lane every once in a while. Watch out for Smokey Bear. My 10-20 is Pennsylvania but I enjoy Florida in the winter. I just hope I can afford the fuel to go back this year. I just thought of another proof that I am old; my first CB was a Johnson that had a telephone like handset for a Mike. And I bought it at RadioShack. Again welcome.
