Actually I just love classic vehicles. So when I paid off a new toyota I bought we got this for me to drive daily and fix as a little street rod After owning it a little while I decided to go another direction with it and turn it into a vintage bug out vehicle. That more suits us because we love to travel and explore. Today and I have about seven grand into the truck with the cost of buying it and making it reliable. We still have a long way to go but its going to be a lot of fun. I plan to start building the back bug out area within the next few months.WriterMs said:Hi Az,
You'll like it here because a bunch of the folks here will be breathing down your neck to see what you do with it mechanically. I think it is great that it is a project for you and your son.
Did you choose that vintage because of the usual bug-out reasons (ease of repair, possible EMP protection, etc.) or did you want a vintage proper for cruising 66?
