Just an introduction.

My wife and I still have our s/b but travel in a Chalet XL1935 towed by a F150.

We are SKP members on a waiting list for one of the co-op parks. We primarily dry camp in Washington state DNR areas, NF and NP areas/campgrounds.

Looking forward to learning more here.

Welcome to the forum. Lots of pretty country up your way.

We're full timers and find no benefit in having a club membership. While traveling, we avoid interstates and boondock/drycamp almost exclusively. Quaint, historic places interest us.

LAST-TRUCK huh???

I saw a sailboat a guy built for himself, named "Never-Again #2" :D

The PNW is a great place for camping! We've got it all, from the Eastern deserts, to the Cascade Mountains, to the San Juan Islands, and the Pacific Ocean.

Ah yes...there's alot to see and do out here!

Patrick from the Oregon Coast.

I'm hoping. Dang things are expensive.

It is pretty up here. Hard to find a reason to go too far away.

Wait till it gets too wet and too cold.....besides if you spend a few months in the desert it is pritty pretty too....

We do find the desert a nice place to be in the winter, especially after near zero temps around here.

So far, we have avoided the rain by living on the east side of the Cascades (the other Washington). They cast quite the large rain shadow. :)

I used to live in the small town of Creston and I also lived up north of Spokane in a cabin on the shores of Deer Lake........winters could be very cold and lots, of snow.
The east side of the Cascades was not too bad.
Our trip there last summer included a vintage trailer rally in Roslyn.
