Welcome to the forums, Michael . . . I'm wanting to hear about your van!

Hiya Travelaround. Well, I used to own a 2004 Chevy express 2500 cargo van, which I had converted myself. I was full time living in it for a while, then eventually I went back to living in apartments. Back in May I traded it in for a new Chevy Colorado truck. Now, I'm feeling like I want to be on the road full time again. Been pricing out Chevy Express 3500 extended cargo vans. If and when I get one, I will definitely be getting a fiberglass high top for it. I'll keep everyone update on my progress. I only wish I knew about this forum when I was still VanDwelling..

Welcome Michael,

Glad you found the Forum. I'm finding many of my questions answered using Search in the Forum and reading really old posts.

Michael, you must really like Chevy vans! I used to have a Ford Aerostar... now contemplating a Ford Transit.

Chevy Vans ...  :D
I am biased though.. my father is a retired toolmaker from Chevrolet V-8 Engine ( GM )  in Flint, Michigan. He's had a Chevy van in the driveway since I was born.

And my father bought Fords! I guess this is hereditary... I've had a Ford Escort, Tempo, Taurus, truck, Aerostar van... so, my inclination is to buy another Ford.

Ha Ha Ha !!! It must be hereditary .. Sounds like a perfectly valid reason for Brand Preference.
