Hi I'm Jeff,

I just bite the bullet and decided to sell the house I had in Kansas and moved back to Arizona where I spent most of my life. I moved on the 3rd of this month, I've been wanting to do this RV Living for a long time. Let me tell you, I wish I've done this years ago. I have two dogs as well, they really like the outdoor thing. I bought a 85 taurus Terry 5th wheel 26ft, I got it for real good deal. I had to get a mobile repair guy in to do some work, it like brand new now. Everything work great. I got it park in a RV park for long term. If things goes right, I plan to be here for a long time, it a real nice spot. Anyway, I hope to meet some good people here and some good tips on RV Living.

Jeff

Welcome, Jeff! There are several of us who are getting ready to make the same kind of life change you just made, so you can give as well as receive advice here.

Thank You everybody for welcome me here. As for advice, for those of you that are thinking about doing the RV living and you have dogs, I started out with a older trailer because I can't see getting dog hair all over a newer one (not that I can afford one anyway). When I was looking for a long term space, I found out that some places will not take anything older than a 90s model. I was pretty lucky on this spot. Now, I don't have the option to hook up and go somewhere else, I'm going full-time RV Living. I'll learn about it as I go. Winter is coming around soon, I got to figure out how to keep the water running. Somebody told me heat tape.

Hi Jeff, Welcome from New Mexico. Glad you are finding your changes working out for you.

One of the reasons a lot of blue collar retired like our state and particularly like this little town, Truth or Consequences is that most of our rv parks could care less the age of your rig. We have a lot of really old beasts parked in them. Some are revitalized antiques but many are just old...LOL

Bri

Welcome Aboard Jeff! Arizona is a great state for rving.

Welcome Jeff,
I'm in Quartzite Az. I'm here very early for the RTR. For anyone of you who are Ham radio operators 146.52 simplex is where all the locales hang out. Whether is mild here.
Enjoy!
