Hello,
I have just joined the website after watching many of the YouTube videos for ideas and inspiration. I'm in my mid 30s and have a Nissan NV that I have converted myself with the gracious help of my family. Thank you to everyone who has shown their homes and shared their knowledge as it has made mine possible.

Welcome Ozymandias to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome to the CRVL Forum :)

I started out with an old Ford Van in my early 20's (school days) with some help from my Dad & Grandad. Those were pre internet & cell phone days. All I had to get started with was a Rand Mcnally Road Atlas & Campground Atlas. It was tough getting started cross country for me but I learned in time.

But since the internet I decided to put my know how into a couple of websites (below) so others would have a free quick start to get a rig together and immediately be able to go on the road.

Dad traveled in his work and knew what to do where I didn't so he taught me his wisdom. I plotted a simple itinerary as I was just out of school and looking for work which is explained in my profile if you want to read it.

So good luck with your rig and travels and be safe.
