Hi I am new to these forums.

I need some advice from someone. I recently broke my back. I wear a brace and cannot bend over. I messed up my ACL and cannot go down on my knees. I can not reach the pull handles for my gray and black water under my 19 foot class C. I am a woman and they were hard to pull or push back in before this happened.

Does someone know what to put on them to extend them out to the bumper ? Is there something I can buy that attach to them that will not hang down and can be reached at the edge of the back bumper ? Thank you for your help.  :s

Sorry to hear about your issues. I hope you heal up as best as possible. Take care of your self!!!

Looks like eTrailer has a bunch of connectors. But not being familiar, I'm sure you can use one of the connectors fitted with PVC and transition back to the end that connects to a hose? Seems like a pretty good project to work on. PVC fitting is pretty easy or you can find a handyperson who has a lil bit of plumbing know how. They do have Threaded PVC as well...

Thank you ClassyGlobal

I will check into that. Definitely have to find someone to do the switching around. I cant bend over let alone get close to the ground.

This is my home and I maybe in this brace for close to a year.

You might try a grabber stick like what is used to pick stuff off the floor.  As far as an extendor, you probably need to go to a place like camping world and ask for their suggestion.

They make valves that are electric and activated by a switch.  They aren't cheap but worth checking on.  there also valves that use a cable like a throttle cable on a lawnmower.  You would need to find someone to install them and I have a feeling there are people who be willing to help.

I'm confused.  Are you talking about the sewer handles or the sewer tube.  You can get sewer handle extensions.  Here is the amazon site for them.

If you are talking about getting an extension for the sewer hose connection then check out...

Do not try to just put an extension with a new valve.  That would require that you leave your existing tank valves open, and that would allow your black tank to mix with your grey - resulting in sewer smells coming from your sink and shower.  You still need to follow the rule about dumping your black tank first and then your grey.

Bending over to pull & push the valve handles is part of it, another part is connecting & disconnecting the sewer hose. How is this going since your injury? Sure, those valves can be a little stiff to operate, but it's the sewer hose connecting that agitates my spine, that's why I'm asking. (My backbone is not connected to my tailbone anymore, along with other spinal issues). Perhaps, as you recover from this circumstance, using a different type of potty system might be easier & less painful.
