Here's a guy I could spend time with. Really like his lifestyle and the style of his house truck and bus.
I'm more of a van fan, but like the layout and details and especially his attitude.
There is a 15 min video and a few pics here-http://tinyhousegiantjourney.com/2015/08/28/house-truck/

WOW!!

Outstanding rig!!!

I actually have photos of a rig I saw parked in Homer Alaska, and it too was a highly modified RV, much like the rig John lives in.
Reading that he's built a bunch of different housetrucks, it makes me wonder if it was him that I saw??

(I'll hafta see if I can find my pics of it)

beautiful wood work. when I was in Homer AK I remember a few converted school buses with smoke coming out of their flues. they obviously had wood burning stoves. in my mind I thought about how warm and comfy it must be inside those. oddly that is about all I remember about Homer. highdesertranger

A wonderful cross between an expedition vehicle and a gypsy caravan. I want one! Great layout inside for 14' and I like the simple, but durable water systems.

Those are totally awesome. I like how he has things strapped up underneath the diagonal part in the back.

very nice, a skilled wood worker can do amazing things, there is a member here who is starting a similar build and this would make a good blueprint.that is if the naysayers don't get to him first

Ah, the twinkle in his eye when he showed off the outdoor soap dish!

Interesting to see someone else making use of a  "Home Base". (and it mobile too)

His out fit reminds me of a couple books

"Rolling Homes: Hand Made Houses on Wheels"  1979

"Roll Your Own: Complete Guide to Living in a Truck, Bus, Van or Camper"  1974

eDJ...have you seen "Some Turtles have Nice Shells"??

The husetruck that I saw in Homer (that I believe this same fellow built) is posted in it.

It's a much better book than both of those other two books put together!!
