Baloo, good to hear from you again! I really should stop by to see you next time I'm up your way!

Putts, I've seen a few utubers that have inflatables like canoes or kayaks... Maybe that is an option for u?

At least the install went easy, back on the road after adding some pressurized air to the new tire. After so much fun, I forgot where I was headed. Guess I will call it a night for now.

All the tools and the muscle to do the job !
Wish I could still do that ...........

There's a blue cobra attacking your tire!

Man, that's a cool tool...but I can't imagine how tough that would be. Probably cuts the cursing down significantly, eh?

Looks like you may have run over a piece of rebar or something similar? Glad you got it repaired.

Yeah, the blue cobra makes life easy when changing a tire. It took a few tries over the years to get down the technique, but now I can pop a tire off the rim in about a minute. If only putting the new tire on was as easy...

It has been a good weekend, got some work done on the ambo too. Removed the rotating light to install a storage box over the cab. It required some cutting and installed diamond plate over the holes first.

Yum.

Have you had the chance to launch and recover the boat since you flipped it? How'd it go?

Yes! And it went surprisingly well. I mounted a winch and pulley block on the roof to make lowering and raising it easier. I am going to mount a roller on the hood and the truck box lid up top to make it even easier next time.

Mounted my attic for storage, time to find some plastic bins that fit perfectly inside.

Installed a tube to hold my registration and insurance information today. Had to remove the dog house to installed it, so I put a new seal on it while I was at it.

On an ambo vacation weekend! No work, no national guard, just R&R. Makes all the work I put in this thing worth it!

I just read everyone of your posts. My first time posting here. I have an ambulance as well that I'm converting. Its a 1991 Ford E350 Medtec Ambulance. Hope that mine will be as nice as yours someday.

Did you have to modify the ambulance box roll cage to add your fan in the roof?

Yes, the vent is 14” and the framing was 12”. Nothing a little aluminum angle and a pop rivet gun can’t fix. I cut the box beam out and moved it back two inches and gusseted it in with 1/8” thick angle. It has been years now without issue.
