Have cold/heat sensitivity in a back tooth. Old dentist retired, went to new guy that relatives use. He did a great j9b, but crowned the wrong tooth. He charged mec $1300 to crown the wrong tooth. Not saying the tooth didn't need it. It might have done. But it wasn't the tooth I was containing about. He kps telling me that the x-rays are fine on the tooth that hurts, so just go use Sensidyne. No second chances for this putz.

I don't understand, are you saying this was a Mexican dentist? If so you paid way too much, crowns are usually about $300 in Algodones.

It's a back tooth. No one sees it. They can drill right thru the crown to remove the nerve, if they want, and then fill the crown. That's what the old dentist did on one of DH'S teeth. The first post was a mess. I was trying to write it on my phone in a moving car.

I've had a root canal in Algodones and everything went really well. I think it was around $400 including the new crown.

We'll probably be at Voyager outside of Tucson again this winter. DH will need access to the machine shop their to do some projects. They have people that organize trips for the residents to a Mexican dental clinic. We can go to someone who regularly deals with the campground clients with the group.
