So from what I've read there's normally quite a few groups that meet up before and after the RTR in Quartzsite, and I'm wondering of any of the groups are anywhere near Sedona yet?

I think I'm ready to meet up with people of the 'tribe' now, plus 6 months of solitude and no real conversations apart from a couple visits gets lonely.  I've got family coming but I'm a few days I'm planning on making another move.

So where are you all at?

I'm still stuck in Florida. Won't be on road til maybe just after Christmas?

I am in Tn. I won't be headed out until after the holidays either. Hope to meet you at the RTR.

I'll be leaving WA state the first week of December. I haven't decided which way to head south as there's only a 50 miles difference between 3 routes but I'm leaning towards down through Utah because there's a wonderfully honest and reasonably priced auto shop in Cedar City that I want to look over the van.

I'm not sure exactly where I'll land yet as I know I want to check out an RV park in southern AZ to use for a home base for a few years but I will definitely hit up Ehrenberg before the end of the year.

I thought about Ehrenburg but those temps there are still a little high for my liking. Sedona dropped about 10 degrees from when I got here, pleasant days and brisk nights, just how I like em.

I plan to head to lower elevation areas once it gets to the 70's for highs

I'm planning to make my first visit there around December 6th ish. Hoping to camp near some hot springs. Ive heard they are in the area. I just haven't found out where yet.

I will be in Ehrenburg tomorrow and plan to camp somewhere east of town where people went after the January RTR. I’m not sure how long I will be there.

As for tonight, I stopped to get a hotel room in Blythe to watch the World Series. As someone who grew up on the North Side of Chicago I CANNOT miss tonight’s game (which will no doubt be the most watched baseball game in history).

And when the Cubs win it won’t be hard to find me: I’ll be the guy doing cartwheels down the interstate all the way to the Colorado River (won’t the folks in the California Inspection Station love that?).

I bit the bullet and bought the tailgator because I was sports deprived for too long, tonight's going to be electric. I just hope the Cubs can keep the bats going, Kluber round 3 coming up.

I wanna see Cubs up early and the Indians come back and get it to one run, then chapman closes it down for 2 innings so all the critics hop off madden. It's hard to question success

I have a tailgater, it's wonderful. It's easy to provide the data for emails and forums when you don't have to worry about streaming.

As a Red Sox fan that was disappointed for so many years until they finally won the series I'm hoping you Cubs fans finally get the chance to feel what it's like to break the curse and win a series.

I was hoping to see big papi get the farewell World Series but the tribe had other plans. Tonight will be one to remember for a long time. Definitely the biggest baseball game in my life time

How are your hands after all those cartwheels and how did those Inspection peoples handle it?  :)

A bit red from the hot asphalt, but I was too happy to notice. As for the inspectors, they looked concerned but lost interest as soon as I crossed into Arizona.
