that's what I'm thinking to, work 4 more yrs, buy land where its warm, sell my home. travel and live in my rv, use the new land as home base set it up with water, elc, and some way to dump the tanks. the land will be out in the country away form city. my plan just needs a few more things to work out.

That is a wonderful plan!! You might want to check out the article on the website on "Homesteding." A guy did just what you are talking about, but he bought a good 5th wheel RV instead of building a house. He goes home to the homestead for awhile and lives in the RV, then he takes off for long stretches and lives in the RV. Works prett well. An RV will cost less than a home and do many more things. Max's Life
I'm currently sitting in a gay book shop. I run events here. So I'm already apart of the furnature. I rarely feel this comfortable in a public place. They also have free wifi and toilet. So i'm thinking of sleeping in the lance and coming here twice a week and then looking for a out 2-3 more places to go. I plan to buy a coffee or two every time I'm here, so that should pay for my net usage in a way.

Max's Lancer Plans
I don't know about size, i've not measured anything, but this is what I invisage in my lancer.

I have a place to live for six months rent free!

Free is a good price, Max.

Care to share more about it?

Only thing is that it is really hard b/c I always have to make it look like I'm not living there.
But having a 3 bedroom house all to myself is amazing, it has aloud me to spread out, analyse and breathe.

The only other down side to this is that I could be asked to leave any where from 6 weeks from now to 6 months. So that makes it feel a little unstable. But no matter, it's free (Apart from the $50 I pay every week for utilities.)

I have a new geneus plan. I am still going to buy a van, and also I am going to rent out a shop, my business is growing so fast and I need a place where we can call home.

That's all for now folk.
ttfn

Glad things are on a stable tack for now, and the business is doing well.. Keep us posted.

Thing's are always scary when you don't feel like you have enough income to do what you need to. Keep your head up! Thing's will get better!

I have a week to do so.
I'm really frustrated 'cause I have talked to my friends again saying "I'll live in my car if I have to, thats life." and they have said that I can't do that and they have offered their couches. Which is great, but I don't want to intrude.

And i love the idea of sleeping in my car for a while so that I can save money, then take a gamble and apply for a more expensive shop.

But my boyfreind is the problem. I can't hide a mattress and mini fridge from him in my car. Well the mattress I can hide, I can say that it is for couch surfing.

Again I'm worried about my cat, I have been thinking of putting her in a cattery for a little while until I am settled. -bites lip.-

Thank God! I have you guys here on this site, I think I would truly go crazy if I didn't. I just feel so alone.
I'm going to have to put half of it in for a bond and the other one my outstanding credit card bill.

Then blink its gone. But that's ok, not having TWO over drawn credit cards will be great. While I've lived in vans, campers and a trailer for 10 years, I've never lived in a car. I must admit I find the idea very unpleasant although I know people who do it and love it. Is there any way to get into a van, even an older minivan? While it will still be scary, I think you would soon grow to like the idea because it is so much more comfortable and familiar than living in a car. Even if you can't do it now, hold onto it as a goal. We can endure a lot as long as we have hope. Hold onto the thought that "What I am going through is only temporary, soon I will be into a nice little van and I can turn it into a cozy, wonderful little home. Then I will never be homeless again!!" I really believe you can truly come to love vandwelling and if you hold on, things will turn around. Bob
