Has anyone out there tried one of those small marine-type woodstoves to heat the back of a truck with camper shell? I've heard of people using them in vans...

I have the Dickinson in my van and it works great. I don't see why it wouldn't work as well in a truck camper. As long as you have a place to mount it. It's not very big and the clearances needs are small. You do have to be able to run the intake / exhaust pipe up through the roof though. And have a propane source to run it.

No doubt form and fit will work. It's the functionality I have questions about. Would you have to have the fire completely out before you move on?
