I'm doing my research and only coming up with LTVA around California and Arizona. Is there nothing like this further south east? Georgia maybe? I can't find anything on it.

Also, I was wondering if there are anymore gatherings coming up? I might just be convinced to check on of those out instead. Thank You!

No. all the LTVAs are in Arizona and Caliornia. It's all on BLM land and there is little or no BLM land east of the Rockies.

Also, it's in the winter and there is nowhere else you would want to be in the winter that is empty public land.

There are summer LTVAs but they are all around Bishop, CA. https://www.blm.gov/documents/arizo...california-desert-do/public-room-frequently-0

No other formal gatherings but there are still some pockets of people together. Some are down in Yuma and some are at Slab City.

I am mostly a city dweller, but I am also all over the map. When I'm in an area I'm unfamiliar with, I just google free camping for that area. There are state and national forests and recreation areas in every part of the country if you search for them.

Most will have no amenities, but is very easy to provide for yourself and outfit yourself with everything you need to live comfortably.

Most of the free public camping spots are limited to 14 days. When your time is up it's often easy to move to another location but stay in the same general area. Texas has some great free camping on the beach near Corpus Cristi. And the weather is pretty nice!
