I'm hoping they'll let them run in this country and not just developing nations, ilke India. Sometimes I get a crappy MiFi connection (2 bars at 1X!) and could really use some low-bandwidth services.

I use youtube-dl to pull down low-res versions of YT videos.   Available for *nix and windows at least.  I call it thusly:

Code:

For times when there's a bandwidth drought, www.publicdomaintorrents.info has over 900 movies you can download while you DO have decent bandwidth, or let it take awhile overnight and play it later. Some great classics, some unusual films, and some so bad they are funny, a la 'Mystery Science Theater' bad.

Also been buying DVD's for cheap (max is a dollar) at flea markets, yard sales, and lately Hastings. Sad to see another bookstore (well, 'media' store) going out of business! Last week picked up a few high dollar movies at about 65 cents each.
