Looking to hit the road & have some adventures

Hi everyone, my boyfriend & I are starting our trip across the country from the east coast. We just left our jobs after 10 years and are looking to live simply and experience all that we can. We're currently in just a basic van with our sleeping pads but hoping to find something a bit more comfy along the way to upgrade to. This site looks so incredibly helpful, so thank you for putting all this info out there.

So, where are you coming from, and where are you thinking of heading to??
You mention getting a 'more comfortable' rig...what are you considering (an RV??), and what don't you like about your van?? Can it be modifyed to your liking??

What kind of backgrounds do you have? Work and/or hobbies??
